2009 Tax Forms

The Library now has paper copies of 2009 Tax Forms. These forms are available to all patrons.

Teen Survey

Teens, take a moment to fill out our survey about a potential Teen Center or Teen Library Branch. We need your input!

Free Yoga Classes

Beginning in March, the Library will host free weekly Yoga classes in the Moeschle Room. These classes will continue through May. Check out the schedule on the bottom of this page for upcoming dates and times. These classes are free. Participants are asked to bring their own mat and wear comfortable, loose clothing. Classes will be taught by Longview citizen and yoga instructor, Cecile Craft. For more information, call 903-237-1341.

Teen Game Night

Teen Game Night is back! Come join us in the Moeschle Room on Thursday, March 25, from 6:00-8:30 pm for everything from Twister and Clue to the Nintendo Wii! It’s going to be a great time, so don’t forget to bring friends, snacks, and any other board, Wii, or card game you might want to play. Drinks will be provided. See you there!

The Library display cases for the month of March feature materials from the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. The DRT is a sororal association dedicated to perpetuating the memory of Texas pioneer families and soldiers of the Republic of Texas.

Perfect for research at all educational levels, this database offers full-text magazine articles, encyclopedias, primary sources, and tips for doing research. Home use requires a special username and password available at the Reference Desk.

Ancestry Library Edition is one of the most important genealogical collections available today. It has unparalleled coverage of the U.S. and the U.K., including census, vital, church, court, and immigration records, as well as record collections from Canada and other areas. This collection is an essential genealogy tool and its valuable content is a strong complement to HeritageQuest Online. Home access is not available for this database.

Learning Express provides access to a number of practice tests. Study for the TAKS, SAT or ACT, practice LSAT or GRE, or take the ASVAB test. Real Estate tests as well as Civil Service exams are available through this service. Take as many tests as you like as often as you like. Click on this link for direct access to Learning Express eBooks. When registering from home, use your library card number as your username and enter a password of your choice.
